Gorilla shot dead

I think that the gorilla  shouldn’t been shot like isn’t shooting animals from the zoo is illegal. So i think no the gorilla shouldn’t be shooted.

1. 17- year-old -400 pounds male gorilla  
2. Two female gorillas did not approached the child  and unharmed
3. Life threatening  situation
4. Population worldwide
5. A gorilla was shot dead at a zoo in america.
